The first piece is an excerpt from a booklet designed for a CD on the Maya. It is a 4-color production sized for inclusion in a CD jewel case.

Here is an excerpt from a newspaper, printed on broadsheet-size newsprint. The concepts involved in designing the layout of a newspaper are similar to the design principles that would pertain to a brochure, catalog or booklet. Costs can be reduced by printing with only one spot color for accent. |

Newsletters can also be printed in tabloid size, as in the example here. This four-color production allows photos and illustrations to be reproduced in full color. |

When cost-savings is required, documents can be printed in black and white, as in the travel brochure at left |

Full color can make items in a catalog more appealing. If you have products to sell, full-color design can show them off to best advantage. The auction catalog of antiquities, left, shows how an attractive layout can be designed to create a trifold brochure on legal-size paper. |
When originality is important, custom design and custom illustration can set your printed pieces apart and make them distinctive. These two pieces are custom-designed invitations for a company barbecue. The fold-over card was digitally drawn with the grill cover on the front, so that unfolding it would mimic lifting the lid off the grill to see what's cooking inside. |

Posters in full color create a lot of impact and grab attention. If you have an important event to publicize, nothing serves as effectively as colorful eye-catching design. |
