Pocono Graphic Design can create a custom logo that will help make your business stand out! The creation of a unique logo starts with considering what the business does - what it sells or what services it offers. We then look to the qualities that the business wants to convey and the target audience it wants to reach.
We advise on color schemes, type styles and the look of graphic elements to develop a logo that can re readily identified and is consistent with the business's purpose. Here are samples of our most recent work.

A logo can be done with just text (for example, Coca Cola), or with just a graphic element (think "the Nike swoosh"), or a combination of text and graphics. While color can add visual appeal to a logo and make it more readily identifiable, a well-designed logo should look good in black and white. Think how many times you make photocopies of your documents ... you don't want your logo to turn into a black blob in the absence of color.
We'll examine the type of company or organization and select fonts that are appropriate for the quality and mood you want to convey. A construction company calls for a solid, sturdy font, whereas a dance studio will want something fluid and delicate. A restaurant may want to show humor, elegance or cutting-edge atmosphere. A financial advisor looks for something traditional that conveys confidence and reliability, but a modern art gallery may lean toward something offbeat and funky. Even if you are using a purely iconic logo where text is not integral with the design, you will still need to add information such as the address and phone, and here the choice of font is important. We strive for a fully integrated look where the graphic and text aspects of the logo are consistent with each other, and consistent with your organization.
Grilla Barbecue Products illustrates how a logo can be integrated and adapted for many different uses. The basic logo - a gorilla with its arm curled in the shape of a "G," was repeated for use with several different products: hang tags, jar labels, and labels for bags. A black-and-white version was also developed. The design is versatile enough to be adapted to a wide range of colors and applications, and the distinctive gorilla icon in the logo is instantly recognizable.
